AWARENESS IS POWER – Life after Breast Cancer Surgery

Sunday, 21st October at 11.30am in Physiofit Woman Kylemore.

Join us on this PINK COFFEE MORNING, have a cuppa and learn what to do after breast cancer surgery.

This talk aims at educating and empowering women after cancer. There is so much that we can do in terms of Oncology Physiotherapy, to help minimise the consequences of surgery and as Emma Hannigan said in her book “Talk to the Headscarf”, LIFE IS FOR LIVING, so let us live well!

Deborah Fernandes, MISCP will share her 23 years of experience as a Chartered Physiotherapist in Women’s Health and Lymphoedema Therapist covering the following:

  • Lymphoedema
  • Manual Lymphatic Drainage
  • Scar Treatment and Care
  • Movement & Exercise
  • Massage

Special guests, Regina Quinn, MPSI from Cunnigham’s Pharmacy in Bray, will be talking about compression garment and demonstrate how you will be measured and fitted.

Sangita Jhamb, Qualified Reflexology Therapist from Happy Souls Holistic, will talk about the physical and emotional benefits of reflexology during and after cancer. All attendees will benefit from a 20% discount on your first Reflexology session with Sangita during the month of November.

This Pink Coffee Morning is also a tribute to our dear friend Emma Hannigan and all our pink warriors!

This event is FREE. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated and your support will go to Breast Cancer Ireland.
