About Our Beginners Pilates

Our Beginners Pilates classes are quite popular and always in demand here at Physiofit Woman. We offer Pilates classes (now online due to COVID-19) for back pain, sciatica pain, neck and shoulder pain, Scoliosis, osteoporosis and other conditions.

Important Note: Posture & Pelvic Floor Workshop is mandatory and the first step if you want to join our Physiotherapy services and Physio-Pilates classes.

Over the last 24 years Deborah developed a system or protocol that aims to reduce pain and improve your quality of life. This protocol integrates several areas such as Postural awareness, hands-on Physiotherapy and Functional Exercise. It’s is a process that is individualised and it takes its time rather than a quick-fix to reduce pain. Exercise is an important part of this system and one that Deborah encourages to be practice for the rest of your life.

Once you complete our mandatory 3h Posture & Pelvic Floor Workshop you will have the foundations to join our Clinical Pilates for Beginners classes where you get introduced to a new way of exercising your body. Every single Pilates Class at Physiofit Woman includes:

  • Body Alignment
  • Body Awareness
  • Strength Exercises
  • Flexibility Exercises
  • Mobility Exercises
  • Body Release Exercises

It is important to understand, and practice correctly, the basic foundations of Pilates. When you have achieved a strong foundation of the basics with the Physiofit Woman Pilates for Beginners Classes, then you can challenge yourself with the next level – Improvers/ Intermediate Pilates.

If you are unsure of your ability level, have taken Pilates somewhere else or haven’t had a class for sometime, we recommend you start with our Beginners Pilates class to understand the difference when it comes to our Pilates classes.
