March, celebrating Woman!
Versatile and multitasking, women are just such an amazing force of nature! What would the world be without women? 🙂
We have International Women’s Day on the 8th of March a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women in the past, present and future.
And on the last Sunday, we have Mother’s Day on the 30th of March celebrating mothers and motherhood.
How much did your life change after having your baby? A lot! You may work more, sleep less and age quicker but guess what; you have your little one who will make all these challenges worthwhile! Tears and laughter, worries and joys are all part of your new journey as a mum.
It’s going to be 8 years since I started teaching my Pregnancy and Postnatal Physiotherapy-Pilates classes in Dublin. Throughout the years I met women who came to my classes, physiotherapy or massages during their first pregnancy, second pregnancy and are now attending our services on their third pregnancy. It’s such a privilege to be part of their journey as the family gets bigger and it is so rewarding to help these mums to have an enjoyable and as pain-free as possible pregnancy and postnatal period.
This is our mission here at Physiofit Woman, working women’s wellness, regardless what stage of a women’s life you are at so you can enjoy it to the full.
Definitively March is Women’s Month and although we are extremely busy here at Physiofit Woman we will have a nice surprise later in the month to celebrate one of the most important roles in a woman’s life: motherhood!
