The Fundamental Workshop for any Woman at any stage of her life  who wants to learn about her Pelvic floor health, function and performance. This Workshop is compulsory if you are new to Physiofit Woman Physio-Pilates Classes or if you wish to attend our Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Consultation.

In our 1.5h Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy Workshop you will learn everything you need to know about your Pelvic Floor muscles:

  4. what are the main symptoms of Pelvic Floor Dysfunction?
  5. What are Kegels exercises?

  8. What is Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy?

What you will learn will change completely the way you see your body and the way you think about the all important pelvic floor muscles that no one wants to talk about it! Let us break the stigma together and learn how to prevent major conditions that can debilitate our lives now or into the future by bringing some light into the matter  – Prevention is better than cure!

You will leave this workshop with practical tools that you can start practicing immediately but you will also be much better prepared for a future pelvic floor assessment if you need one in the near future.

Improving your Pelvic Floor performance will have an impact on your physical and mental well-being.

This workshop can be done separate as a single session or as part of the Maternity Posture Workshop and it is mandatory if you wish to participate on our exclusive Physiolates Programmes for beginners, pregnant, postnatal, post-mastectomy women and also if you wish to have a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy Consultation.

The Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy Workshop is part of our Maternity Posture Workshop and our Posture & Pelvic Floor Workshop.

Important Note: This Workshop is mandatory if you want to join our Pilates classes or our Pelvic Health Physiotherapy services.

 

The comprehensive Protocol of our Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy  includes 3 important steps:

STEP 1: Posture & Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy Workshop – MANDATORY TO BECOME A PHYSIOFIT WOMAN CLIENT!

STEP 2:  Physiotherapy – Once you attend the Workshop you can then book a Physiotherapy session with our Women’s Health Physiotherapist, Deborah Fernandes, MISCP.

The 1st Physiotherapy Consultation is up to 75min and includes Consultation, Assessment and Hands-On Treatment.

The information and tools that you have learned during the Posture Workshop will be used during this Consultation. Appointments are booked and pre-paid online up to 48h prior to your appointment. An online payment link will be emailed to you once you confirm you want to proceed with the booking.Please note that Deborah only accepts 8 new clients per month (after completing the WS).

STEP 3: Physio-Pilates – Our Physio-Pilates Classes include Beginners, Improvers, Intermediate and Advanced levels. We also have Maternity Physio-Pilates:

Pregnancy Pilates:Once you complete the Workshop you will be ready to join our presencial Pregnancy Pilates classes in our clinic in Dublin 12 or online Pregnancy Physio-Pilates classes via ZOOM. Our classes will ensure that you keep the correct posture while toning the body and prepare you for labour.

Postnatal: If you are Postnatal, you have the option to join our Online Mother & Baby Pilates Classes (if baba is less than 6 months old) or our Online Postnatal Physio-Pilates classes via ZOOM. our Postnatal classes will address the core, including rectus diastasis, pelvic floor, back, arms and leg muscles.

We understand that this approach may not suit every individual requirements or needs but this is the way we operate at Physiofit Woman and we are quite happy with the results we have achieved with our patients.
