Do you suffer from back pain?
Is it affecting your daily tasks?
Did you stop exercising because of your back pain?

If you suffer from Back Pain (chronic or not) or you had an accident and you still feeling pain or discomfort, you know that you have recurring issues with your back or you are a new dad who all of the sudden started to feel back, neck and shoulder pain, then this workshop is for you . This workshop can work for anyone at any level of discomfort and you will start seeing the benefits immediately in your daily tasks, work and any exercise activity you may partake.

Can you believe that your posture can actually cause you Back Pain, Sciatica Pain or even Neck Pain?

If you do believe it, you need to attend this workshop and if you don’t believe it…you really need to participate in this workshop!

Sometimes we notice that we may not have “the best posture” but we also don’t have pain. That is fantastic!
However, this workshop will resonate with those who are suffering with chronic back pain and have tried everything else from pain killers to treatments and exercise. If you tried everything else and your doctor already mentioned back pain surgery, please consider attending this workshop as this will also serve you as good foundation for your post-operative recovery.

Unfortunately, here at Physiofit Woman most clients only reach us when they have tried everything else and are in absolute agony! The good news is: We are here to help you the best we can!

Fortunately, for us at Physiofit Woman, the results are very positive with patients being able to resume their daily activities and enjoying being mobile and functional again!

Some of us recall our parents saying to us “put your back straight” or “mind your posture”. We all know that it is important to have good posture in sitting or standing position but what does that really mean? And how can we achieve it?

In this two hour workshop, you will be guided step-by-step on how to achieve optimum body alignment or what we call the Neutral posture. You will learn about the:

    • “hunchback”
    • “sway back”
    • “turtle neck”
    • “duck butt”
    • and other posture imbalances that may be causing you pain and discomfort.

Once you identify what type of posture you have you will learn how to re-aligning your body.

With this new found knowledge, you will understand if your posture is the actually culprit of your pain (or not) and if it is, can you imagine the impact of learning how to realign the body in order to improve or reduce your pain will have in your day-to day routine?

What you will gain from this workshop is a valuable tool that you can use for the rest of your life to improve your posture, minimise back pain and sciatica pain, reduce stiffness and general joint pain. It is a tool that you can start practicing immediately and the more you practice the better you will get and the easier it will be to obtain the right alignment. You will feel your muscles working in a different way, you will become more body-aware, and ultimately you will feel empowered and in control of your own body.
When you become more aware of your posture you are able to incorporate the lessons you learnt in the Workshop into your daily tasks, work and into exercise programme. This will positively impact not only your physical but also your mental well-being.

This Workshop is what sets Physiofit Woman apart from the mainstream approach for back pain. It gives you the foundations that you require to understand more about your body and ultimately about your pain. It is also the entrance ticket to our Physiotherapy services, meaning that we will not accept new patients for Physiotherapy with our Chartered Physiotherapist Deborah Fernandes without the completion of the Posture Workshop.

Important Note: This Workshop is mandatory if you want to join our Beginners Pilates classes or our Physiotherapy services. This is still valid even if you are a Pilates/Yoga instructor or you have been doing Pilates for many years.

We understand that this approach may not suit every individual requirements or needs but this is the way we operate at Physiofit Woman and we are quite happy with the results we have achieved with our patients.

Please visit www.iscp.ie to find a Chartered Physiotherapist that matches your requirements.

But don’t take our word for it! Check our Facebook Reviews and Google reviews specific to this Workshop and our Physiotherapy services!
